Installation

Get User Activity Audit Log installed and running in under five minutes.

Prerequisites

Before installing, make sure you have:

• Jira Cloud or Jira Data Center 9.x or later
• Jira Administrator role
• Access to the Atlassian Marketplace

Install from the Marketplace

Step 1 — Open the Marketplace

In Jira, go to Settings → Apps → Find new apps. Search for User Activity Audit Log.

Step 2 — Start the Trial

Click Try it free to begin a 30-day trial. No credit card required.

Step 3 — Approve Permissions

The app will request the following permissions:

• Read project and issue data
• Read user profiles
• Write audit log entries (own storage only)

Review and click Accept & Install.

Step 4 — Confirm Installation

After installation, you’ll see User Activity Audit Log listed under Settings → Apps → Manage apps. Status should show Enabled.

Verify the Installation

Navigate to Settings → User Activity Audit Log → Dashboard. If you see the activity feed loading, the installation was successful.

Uninstalling

Go to Settings → Apps → Manage apps, find the plugin, and click Uninstall. All stored audit data will be deleted after the grace period defined in your retention policy.
